How to share a build

From Studio to forum in four steps

Every public build comes with its specification, test plan and source, so others can understand it, reproduce it and make it better.

Build it in B4 StudioDescribe your indicator or strategy, review what will be built, then generate the code.
Make it publicSwitch Visibility to Public, add your name and choose a license. Public strategies must use simulation accounts, a stop and daily limits.
Copy the postOn the Share tab, press "Copy community post": the specification, checks, test plan and source in one block.
Post itOpen the Indicators or Strategies forum, paste the post into the form, choose the license and tick what you tested.

Useful, legal and safe

Welcome

  • Builds you wrote, under MIT, Apache-2.0 or MPL-2.0
  • Honest testing notes: instrument, bars, dates, simulation or Playback
  • Improvements to others' builds, with credit and the same license terms
  • Questions at any level, and patient answers
  • Building on the free, public B4 Signal API

Not allowed

  • Profit claims, account screenshots, "guaranteed" anything
  • Telling anyone to run a community strategy on a live account
  • Decompiled, leaked or paid third-party code, or license keys
  • Proprietary B4 code or logic (B4 Algo, confirmations, CoPilot Pro, Indicator Pro)
  • Code that reaches the internet, starts programs or touches files or credentials

Community projects are not B4 releases. They are not reviewed for correctness, profitability or live-trading safety. Compile and test everything yourself in simulation.
